It was a project that I was working on during 2022. It would be an alleged children's platform game that never existed, published by the Mexican company playstart (a company that does not exist) in 2013. I had planned to tell two stories: The first was the story of the game, which would be shown every time a level was finished in the gameplays. While the second was a kind of sub-plot about development, how it was a disaster, mismanagement, betrayal, and theft of intellectual property.
I had been working on the sprites, music, sound, and animations since 2022. And despite not knowing anything about programming, I do know how to animate based on sprites and frame by frame (thanks Pivot Animation), so I decided to animate the fake gameplays, even so that took me a lot of time.
Now, the reason for the cancellation: Despite having finished the first episode (and I will probably publish it tomorrow), as I said before, the gameplays were not about a real game, or a real gameplay, everything was pure sprite animation, frame by frame, which is a very time-consuming task and consumed a lot of my time.
In addition, due to school issues, I no longer had time to even make progress on anything. Not to mention that I changed laptops, and having to pass files, music, sounds, among others, plus the program to animate, and the editor, made me not want to continue advancing so much.Maybe in the future, I will decide to resume the series, but try this time to make it a real gameplay, and not an animation. Although I doubt it, I'll upload all the content I had related to the project anyway
